5 losses. Count em.

I'm sure they're BCS title contenders in the eyes of ESPN next year though.

Easiest schedule in the country, better recruiting than Nebraska, yet continually suck massive bags of dicks every single year.

Brian Kelly really looks like a winner too. They looked so organized and prepared in the "Champs Sports Bowl" against an atrocious FSU team.

That is all. Rant over. Continue sucking.

Honestly with this schedule dropping 5 or 6 games would not be completely surprising unfortunately.

Brian Kelly has three or less losses in three of the last five seasons. By my count, that is three more such seasons than Bo Pelini has had in his career.

not arguing in favor of Bo by any means (in order to be mentioned as a top coach, he has to do better) but those 3 seasons were in the Big East, which is barely holding together as a football conference. he has yet to win 9 games in his 2 years as a HC at a BCS-equivalent school...i think many would argue the Big East has deserved to lose it's BCS AQ status for a couple years now.

And yet the Big East has a better BCS record than the Big 12......

Edit: I get the weaknesses of this argument (ie Miami and VT are gone now). At the same time, I truly do think Cincy was better than Nebraska fram 2007-2009, and I think the numbers validate this.

would you make the argument that the Big East is better than the Big XII? or the Big Ten? or the Pac-12? you would have a hard time arguing that the Big East is better than the Mountain West.

2007-08 i would agree with you. 09, i would put my money on Nebraska. that team had 2 BAD losses to teams we should have beat (the team pretty much just forgot to show up) and our other 2 losses were by a combined 2 points to the decent VT and future national title participant Texas.
