If conditions worsen game may be played Friday Night... Statement from NC State

"We are monitoring the path and potential impact of weather in our region this weekend due to Hurricane Matthew. While we will make every effort to play our much-anticipated game with Notre Dame this Saturday as scheduled, the safety of both teams and our patrons is our first priority. We had a conference call this afternoon with the ACC and Notre Dame, will remain in communication and monitor the potential conditions."

ALSO: If game cannot be played on Friday Night... Game could be canceled and each team will have only 11 games on the schedule.

Update: Kelly has announced that if any weather problems become an issue in NC... Game could be moved to South Bend for a Notre Dame home game.

I dont see the problem. either play the game on Friday or Sunday or swap home games. Its simple.

UPDATE: Wednesday 11:45 AM, Game is currently still planned to go on at NC State at Noon Saturday

National Hurricane Center sent out a statement to ACC (Via Twitter) Saying the worst of the storm will hit there on Friday Night/Saturday Morning... If the weather is still bad Friday Night, Game could go to South Bend for Noon on Sunday.

UPDATE (7:35 p.m. Wednesday): The North Carolina State athletics department says it fully expects the game to be played, as scheduled, at noon on Saturday.

It appears that Kickoff time is final and there will be no changes... 12 PM Noon EST on ABC Saturday

Yes I saw that. Storm will hit tonight and it is only a Cat 2. Should be good to go for game time.

If I were them I would at least move it up to 3:30 to give them some extra time just in case.
