4.9 : Derrick Nnadi - DT - Florida St.
5.5 : Tegray Scales - LB - Indiana
5.26 : Daurice Fountain - WR - Northern Iowa
6.31 : Chase Litton - QB - Marshall
7.13 : Sean Welsh - G/C - Iowa
7.23 : Marcus Baugh - TE - Ohio St.

Team Needs:
1. RB
2. DT
3. Secondary
4. LB
5. G

Fitzpatrick helps the Redskins either at Corner or Safety which they both need after trading CB Fuller to Chiefs for Alex Smith & at Safety where they traded Safety Sua Cravens to Denver.

Chubb will finally fill the running back spot on the 3 downs which the Redskins have needed for the past few years.

After Vea & Payne off the board at NT the Redskins gets a steal at DT in the 4th round with Nnadi. He can help the Skins in either the 4-3 or 3-4 packages and won’t be taken out of the game as much as other prior 3-4 DT’s.

Tegray Scales lead the Nation in solo tackles (93) & 23.5 tackles for loss plus was the Big10 leader in tackles and can play sideline to sideline. He fills a need for the Redskins who lost Trent Murphy in free agency and with so many injuries for the Redskins at LB they could use Scales who stayed healthy all 4 years.

WR wasn’t a huge priority but was needed to help Alex Smith and adding Daurice Fountain certainly does that. A good size 6’1 210lb player with speed can help stop teams from doubling up on Paul Richardson especially if Josh Doctson is fully healthy this year.

Alex Smith is 34yrs old and how long will he be in the league is unknown so developing a QB to replace him in a few years will be needed. Not a top priority for the Redskins and that’s why getting a good quarterback in Chase Litton in the 6th round was great value. His decision making skills need to be worked on and having Jay Gruden as his coach will really benefit him develop.

Redskins need depth at guard and at center and that’s why Sean Welsh from where else do you get big offensive lineman but Iowa is the perfect person for the job. The kid is big, strong, has a nasty streak, and like I said can play different spots on the line.

With my last pick in the 7th round I chose to take a flyer on Ohio States Tight End Marcus Baugh who didn’t play much his first few years but shows a lot of potential if given the chance to prove himself. With Redskins Jordan Reed never staying healthy for a full season I thought taken a tight end was probably a need they should address late in the draft.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

1.30 : Billy Price - OG - Ohio St.
2.30 : Brian O'Neill - OT - Pittsburgh
3.30 : Trenton Thompson - DT - Georgia
5.30 : Nick Nelson - CB - Wisconsin
6.30 : Quin Blanding - S - Virginia
6.39 : Michael Dickson - P - Texas
6.44 : Kurt Benkert - QB - Virginia
7.7 : Roc Thomas - RB - Jacksonville St.

Vikings team needs:

  1. Offensive Guard
  2. Right Tackle
  3. Nickel Cornerback
  4. Running Back
  5. D-Line Depth
Nailed the first 2 needs w/ the first 2 picks. Went BPA with the 3rd pick, which was also a team need. Went with the change of pace RB with the final pick, to replace the departed McKinnon. Punting was horrendous for the Vikes last year, and hopefully solved that by drafting the best punter available in this draft. Hopefully Cousins will be leading this team for many years to come. Siemien obviously isn't a viable backup, so hopefully Benkert can become a quick study with a strong training camp and take over the #2 slot.

I know the Raiders signed Baugh not sure on the others. Redskins added the gambling RB. And @Nosferatu should be happy the colts added JT Barett VIIIIIIIIIII and his vikings signed Hercules
