Game Thread: North Carolina @ Virginia Tech

Who would have thought that this game would be one of if not the most important game in North Carolina football history? A win or a Pittsburgh loss to Louisville would send the Heels to the ACC Championship. The crowd for that game, given regional proximity, would be ecstatic.

Just a thought...

UNC is 7-0 at home this season, best since 1980.

UNC is 9-1, their best record since 1997.

This is a special football team with a special group of seniors.

Also, if we can win at VT in convincing fashion, it would give us yet another good benchmark to gauge us against some other top teams.

As a matter of fact, UNC right now has 2 or more common opponents with Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Clemson.
