And w a bunch of road games to start the season, this could get worse quickly.
After what happened in the off season, both of them are probably hanging by a thread. Unless the owner is just prepared to ride out a shitty season, and deal w all this in the offseason.
I know someone who knows the players pretty well, and they definitely lost respect for Wilson w the way everything was handled this past offseason.
I usually agree that the players are the ones to blame or praise for losses and wins. But Wilson is the one that put this team together, gave Thornton and Marleau new deals w NTC's, and basically did nothing to improve the team this offseason, and had cap $$ he could have used to add some players.

Very true...lost $$ will speed this process up.
I laughed how they said they wouldn't raise ticket prices after last season...So they just let Boyle go and trade Stuart...and don't bring anyone else in...Figure they saved around $8-9M right there.

Last non-sellout was in December 2009. Hopefully, the trend will continue. Plattner will only take notice if/when the crowds become smaller and fan apathy sets in, cutting into the revenue.
