The various mascots that offend some people have been discussed endlessly. But my personal favorite to be discarded is the Oklahoma Cheaters (Sooners on the uniform). They are after all celebrating the cheaters of the Oklahoma land rush. No worse an example to send to our children than the other mascot names.

What I am trying to do is show how ridiculous this whole "the mascot offends me" issue is.
Everything offends somebody. I suspect there are fools who would say if you choose vanilla over chocolate you must be racist. Don't like the logo, don't support the team or buy their merchandise. Illinois had to give up their mascot but Florida State does not. A disconnect? The Indian's logo may offend some but it injures no one.

But if some logo's that are offensive need to be dropped than all that offend anyone need to be dropped.
As I said the list has been discussed over and over and everyone knows which logo's would need to be dropped if any particular one needs to be dropped.
