An Angles thread about no-hitters has to ahve a Nolan Ryan item, right?

It was on this date back in 1974 that Nolan Ryan whiffs 19 batters in 13 innings, including Cecil Cooper six consecutive times, in the Angels' 15-inning, 4-3 victory over Boston in Anaheim. The right-hander's performance will be the first of three 19 strikeout outings the Texan throws this season

Santana... Mr. Every Other Year Guy. One season he would look like a hall famer. The next season, he looked like he belonged in the minors.

An Angels no hitter thread should definitely include Mike Witt's in 1984. That's been the only perfect game in Angel's history. Final game of that season. Witt strikes out 10. Angels win 1-0.
