qnd to be clear by merit meant wvu may have recourse against raese for legal expense for wrongful lawsuit. maybe different opinion of raese injunction request upheld but was flat out denied img has to get act together tho couldnt even get radio in ne ohio could be raese child game that caused that dont know for sure but missed radio computer feed stunk

Dad,

Find the article which details the result of the court's outcome for me. I will be waiting....

The court case is still ongoing, the judge found wrongdoing but did not enforce the injunction because it was too close to the season opener and would have left us with NO football on the radio.

One can argue semantics if one wants to be pigheaded. He knew what I meant.

The lawsuit has not gone to trial. There have been no court decisions about the bidding process to determine by trial if WVU was found guilty of any or all of the allegations.

It is really that simple...

:omg:Just as pigheaded as you on semantics BB, just as you know what I meant and still argue, everyone who has looked at it found wrongdoing, they just have not determined if it was on purpose or not.

You better re read them Jim, as every one said there was conflict of interest and wrongdoing, they were trying to figure if it was intentional. The lawsuits have already been determined to NOT be wrongful, the judge was going to stop the WVU-IMG deal with an injunction, but decided EVERYONE would be harmed by WVU football not having a radio home.

did many times in 33 years never left tho turned down lifetime federal job too

WHY? If you were happy where you were, I see no reason to be seeking other jobs. Thanks to the interview with Texas, Luck's name will be linked to every high profile opening and will create distractions here.

Using quotes from this article you provided for us…

The WV AG's review…Morrisey's report cited "significant errors and sloppiness" in how the original deal was crafted. The attorney general also said he found "no evidence of intentional wrongdoing,"

The Judge assigned to the lawsuit… Evans… met with both parties to hear their arguments and rendered decisions to deny WVRC's injunction as well as WVU's request to dismiss the lawsuit…

In his decision, he looked at WVU's request…

The WVU Board of Governors, WVU Foundation, West Virginia Media Holdings, IMG and individuals including Athletic Director Oliver Luck wanted the lawsuit dismissed. They argued, among other things, that West Virginia Radio failed to provide sufficient grounds for its claims of conspiracy, fraud and violation of procurement regulations.

Evans denied those motions without ruling on the merits of the underlying case.

YET AGAIN, BB cherrypicks, you would make a good editor on 60 minutes, BB.

UPDATE: 08/26/2013

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - A judge has denied a motion by West Virginia Radio Corp. to reset West Virginia University's bidding process over a media rights contract for sporting events.

Judge Thomas Evans in Morgantown on Monday declined West Virginia Radio's bid for a preliminary injunction, citing the likelihood of significant financial harm to the university.

Evans also cited the public interest because WVU's football team plays its first game on Saturday. The university had argued it would be nearly impossible and very expensive to get a new media rights partner in time.

West Virginia Radio wants to stop WVU from finalizing a 12-year contract with North Carolina-based IMG College.

Earlier Monday, Evans rejected a request by the WVU board of governors, the WVU Foundation and other parties to dismiss the lawsuit.

THAT means the lawsuit by Raese has merit, that there was wrongdoing, but it was too late to nullify the IMG deal. You are stuck on the word intentional, When you have a car wreck, it surely was not intentional, but there are still legal issues to deal with, WOW, you guy's love for Luck knows no bounds.

Actually, it has been explained to me that it is extremely rare for any judge to dismiss a case like this. Simply put, the case should be argued in court. So, you're right… there is merit to the case.

The fact that the case will be argued… if it is not settled… does not mean there was wrongdoing. The court will make its decisions based on the evidence.

Many a case goes to court, and the rulings do not favor the plaintiff in the end…

Man… your hate of all things Luck knows no bounds…:laugh3:

UPDATE 5/15/13
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) -- West Virginia University says bidders for multimedia rights to certain athletic events have until June 18 to respond to a new request for proposals.

WVU announced last month it would rebid the contract after a review by the state attorney general's office found "significant errors and sloppiness" in how a previous deal was crafted.

This time, the process will be led by Chief Procurement Officer Brenda Mowen.

Two WVU Board of Governors members shouldn't have participated in reviewing the bids, but Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said he found "no evidence of intentional wrongdoing."

Athletic Director Oliver Luck improperly provided confidential details of the proposed contract with North Carolina-based IMG College to board chairman Drew Payne before its public release.

Morrisey said Payne's subsequent comments on the deal were also improper.
