Great news for Dodger fans. After years of following the Detroit Tigers, the (in)famous poster @dougplayer has switched his allegiance to the LA Dodgers.

Please welcome him to your group...and keep him here.

He can opt out but he'll still sign with the Dodgers, I'd give it like a 20% chance he's on a different team next year and that might be too high. If the team keeps slumping and has a severely disappointing season/miss the postseason, which is unlikely, then maybe it happens.

Nice to see the Giants hanging in there at .500 despite no hitting and a devastated pitching staff. We are getting to see what we have in the way of pitching from our young guys. Stratton looks like he can give the team a fighting chance when he's in the mound; same with Suarez.

Tough loss last night but the offense could have turned the corner. The bats looked good in the later innings. Hopefully they wake up.

Having Turner would help but most of these losses would have been losses even if he were starting. The Dodgers just aren't playing well at this moment.

Glad to see the Dbacks winning even though they don't have Lamb and Souza in and also Goldy still in his slump!

Yep, that is dumb as shit. That was on Avila. Good thing that happened with less than two outs or none of the runs would have counted. And of course Avila made up for it with a solo jack later in the game.

Turner is likely going to struggle for a while when he does return. Wrist injuries have a lingering effect on hitters even after they are healthy. Goldschmidt, Pollock, & Peralta over the last few years, all had struggles for a long while after coming back from wrist injuries.

I wonder if the Giants are ever going to win a series. They've lost or tied them all this season.
