Well, my Evansville Purple Aces should have been in the NIT .

But my Valpo Crusaders are in it and doing OK so far.

For mid-majors who get screwed by the system, they make the best of it. It's a chance to see some basketball.

Aztecs trying to show they deserved to be in the big dance over some of the average power 5 teams who got in ahead of them(which they did imo), easy first win and pulled away in the second half to win by 15+ in the last 2 games. I know it's at home which kinda helps for how good SDSU is on their home court, but they've played great defense all year and the offense has been pretty good the last month or so. Hopefully they can get 2 more in NY and end the season strong.

Final 4 of the NIT validates the programs of the teams even if they did win at home. Being top seeded in a region means something. As for any of them being screwed out of the NCAA, yeah probably. But showing up in MSG will be a program boost for all these teams.
