Jays and Mariners tied 1-1 bottom of the 11th. Really hoping the Mariners pull it out. I despise the Jays.

Things are looking good on the HFA front. The Red Sox and Indians are losing narrowly right now. Could change.

Mariners ahead of Blue Jays in what I would call a " must win" for the Mariners. I think they'd fall too far behind the Jays if they get swept.

Frankly did not care if the Ms won. Can't stand the BJs.

There are still 9-10 games left in the season for each team and a lot can change between now and then. We've all witnessed how quickly a red-hot team can go ice cold and vice versa.

Frankly, I'm not scared of the Sox at all. Their pitching is horrendous outside of Price and Porcello, and those are 2 guys we've always hit well. With the loss of Carrasco and Salazar, I'm not terribly worried about the Indians either.

We certainly have our share of weaknesses and warts, but I feel that way about every playoff team this year in the AL. There should be some good series played.

True. We have always had the Indians number. And Elvis rakes against them.

Add to that they seem to have their SP injury issues we had earlier in the season.

With Boston second go around this year, we faced them with three SP on the DL. Same with Cubbies. We threw Nmart and Chi Chi at both and with the Cubs a just returned Yu.

In general the Red Sox don't scare me, I think we could hang with them in a long series. I have my doubts playing them in a 5 game series. Their line up can easily explode and blow you out. In addition, they would be able to cover up their soft rotation in a short series by using more of Price and Porcello.

Seems the teams they are now playing are more concerned about Big Poppies going away gift than winning ball games.

They have the Yankees and BJs left to play. The Yankees gave up on trying to win . But the BJs have everything to lose.
