Both teams are close. I've always had Gretzky and Lemieux as a push. It's the slight edge as far as defensive defensemen. That I think pushes you just over. Real tight match up

I didn't look at how the draft went but I feel he made much better use of his current players which leveled the playing field of the Great ones edge

Thank you for the input. I don't see how the draft went should matter in the matchup. Its his team vs mine. You do know the current players vs the Great One we aren't doing the matchup if they played right now correct Nos did get a lot of shooters on his team, some great assist players and 2 good goalies. Facing Nos is always a challenge and when he drafts second and of course makes a smart pick and taking Mario the match up gets even harder. Can't wait to see the other votes and either way this match up would be fun to watch.

Ha I more meant I didn't look at the other teams/who was available at the times you took Erberle and Stone.

It was my nice way of saying why the fuck was Eberle drafted. Lol

88/89 was a prime example of how close they were. If not for lemeiuxs injury. He ties or passes Gretzky easy. His numbers were well on pace
