@Battlelyon You think the Rams will win in Seattle, because that's probably what it will come down to.

Do I think the Rams could win, yeah, I think they are more than capable. Will they? I wouldn't put money, or an avatar on it. The only way the Hawks win the division in my opinion is beating the Rams at home and not screwing it up, I can see both scenarios. I can see them beating the Rams and losing the division crown by seasons end. I see winning the Rams winning the division at 12-4 and Seahawks end up 11-5.

This week could line us up for an epic showdown.

Russell Wilson. Despite all the injuries to their defense he still has them contending for a playoff spot.

I've written this before, but a split award between Ingram and Kamara should merit at least a moment's consideration this particular season, although that's not how this works anymore obviously.

In honesty the guy who should win the mvp is Wilson, the guy who will finish this year with the best mvp resumé on paper is Brady, and the guy who obviously will win the mvp is Wentz unless something goes seriously haywire in the weeks to come, which is not beyond the eagles....

and yet it is a game not worthy of Prime Time?

That is what I can't understand. You have a game that can be built up like Flair/Hogan in 94(bash at the beach. Look it up nimrods).............................

But it is on free tv?????????????????????

Why is that?

Drew Brees

A worthy choice. I rarely see his name raised in these discussion. I'm not sure why. He has the numbers and the wins. But I went with Brady. I was slow to acknowledge his greatness. I was a Manning guys for years in those debates. I was wrong. The guy is simply amazing. He hasn't lost a step.

The Hawks would obviously be in serious trouble without Wilson. He'd be a fine choice as well.

Not to nitpick, but for running backs you should probably include receiving yards too. Gurley leads the NFL with 1,502 yards and 11 TDs

An RB basically has to break a record to win an MVP. Just the way it is.

Yep, Brady would be a worthy choice as well... And I was like you, refusing to accept his place in the game for a long time, but after he beat Seattle in the SB, all I could do is throw my hands up and say "Welp, he truly IS the great one". I'm just super-impressed by Brees this year, over 70% comp. percentage, at his age, and a 10-game win streak in a tough division?? Sheesh!

I'm not sure I can even come close to making a choice right now. There is no real runaway favorite at this point in the season. I don't think it's something I can quantify with stats alone. I would like to see Russell Wilson have a stellar December, like he usually does, and take this team to 12-4 and yet another div crown. I think if he does that, the voters will likely give it him. I think Wentz could still win it as well if he has a big bounce back from last week and takes that team to 14-2. And I think Brady is pretty much always in the conversation but it seems that he maybe gets punished somewhat because of that sustained success year after year. Honestly, I doubt he really cares one way or the other. His only concern is Lombardy Trophies at this point.

Need to remove Brady from the list and replace him with Gronk! Cant win without him. It looks like his forearm to the back of that player getting him the suspension could cost them home field in the playoffs
