Asiata would've been a terrific solution

A great first two days of the draft for Fins. They need to close it out as well as they opened

Yes not disappointed although I was hoping for OG in the third. Hopefully they find an OG and DT today. I'm guessing they are simply going BPA which is fine.

From what I can gather based on how things are falling, they are certainly going BPA

5th round coming up 3 selections for the Fins, 2 of which are compensatory. I think OL will surely be addressed here. I am sure that not a lot of desirable names remain for our fans, but I am confident we will continue to get great value out of our remaining picks as we have thus far

Corn Elder, Of The U, to the Panthers - noteworthy because he was a Cane - we didn't really need CB

Mission accomplished Issac Asiata to the Fins. The good draft times keep rolling for the fins

Punishing DT out of LSU for the Fins now - a depth/developmental guy for now with great potential

And now we traded our 7th to the Bucs for their 7th, and I'm assuming their 7th in 2018 because they have no more picks in this draft.

WR, Isiah Ford for depth the final pick for fins.

Again, its been a great draft - got great value out of each and every pick. Now its time to get the work done on the field.

Also, lets see what comes out of the UDFA list - Fins always get some good ones there as well

This has been a excellent draft for the Fins. They have met positional needs by adding great talent. I liked the earlier picks and todays picks were very good.

There is nothing finesse about Asiata. He will create running lanes with his strength. He had 35 reps on the bench press & the guy has longer arms than Lamp. He is a real talent at OG. The DT's are both quality players also.

The Fins also added Ford who is a productive WR from VT. WR is a deep position on the team. It will be competitive to earn that 5th spot on the roster. Special teams could be a deciding factor.

Pretty good draft although I would have liked to see an OT taken instead of WR. Who is their backup OT? I guess that they have time to find one. Otherwise I'm cool overall depth on D will help way better prepared already.

Asiata would've been a terrific solution

You called that pick Paolo. Asiata will either be solid depth or he may win a starting OG spot. Larsen has the experience but Asiata has a lot of potential. Not only can he play OG but he could provide depth if Pouncey gets injured at Center.

McMillan has a chance to start also. Misi plays the run well when he's in there but I think McMillan may have more range with better coverage skills. That will be another interesting positional competition. McMillan would be moving from ILB to OLB. He will need to adjust but he seems versatile.

I'm also interested in to see if Godchaux gets early snaps. He played the run well at LSU and he may be better at getting to the QB then what Phillips has shown so far.
