You have to save money for certain contract incentives, injuries and the rookie pool. Hobs says this takes about 60 million or so.

That 60 million is ear marked for the compensatory draft picks that will be coming around 2020 or so.

It just now dawned on me that I am stuck with my profile pic for the next 2 years..... I was really hoping to change it to a picture of Chunky Guenther or Darrin Simmons.

Life is full of disappointments. This is just another one.

Some folks really don't like change.

They get to the point when everything in their environment is the same and they get used to it, they can move around in it and appear to be semi-competent. But when anything changes they get lost. Any change is seen as bad.

I think that's what's going on in the Bengals office. Any change is seen as bad change, because it means an end to their era of usefulness. That's why rookies are spending half their time here on the bench and blossoming when they go to other teams.

My new team is going to be great. In fact, I'm 2000 miles closer to them than Cincinnati. All hail the San Francisco 49ers...the orange and black is history. Just a bad 45 year nightmare. I'm free at last. Reds are next up for the axe
