This is PEAK Bengals..... It has to be. They are now just openly antagonizing fans.

Lmao. The “new staff” is taking form. They’ll replace Guenther with a cheap cronie and repackage the 2017 Bengals as the new and improved 2018 model. Hobs will hypnotize the sheep into staying in the flock.

Save yourselves the migraines.

Earl D-coordinator candidates:

1) Kevin Coyle.
2) Jim Haslet
3) Jay Hayes
4) Marcus Lewis (Marvin's son)

I’d say Coyle or Haslett are odds on favorites. Dark horse is Jack Del Rio. The latter will be sold as something revolutionary.

Coslet and Lebeau basically left after they realized they weren't able to do anything here.

It will be the same with Lewis. After going 3-13 he'll finally realize this is shit and he'll blame it on Mike Brown.

If Haslet becomes DC this crapfest will get turned up to 11. The Skins defense has never recovered from his stint with them.

That about does it. Final straw. I’m done with these dopes. Not spending one more moment of my life on the Cincinnati Bengals until Mike Brown is dead.

See ya in August...

In the words of Deion Sanders, the Postseason is "everything"

Therefore, Marvin Lewis is 0-7. Not a single game won. That, is called being a complete failure. Any other claim is like saying "but, we kicked ass in the preseason".

I would have respected this decision more if Brown gave Lewis a 1 year contract and put another year under restrictions. Lewis has to win at least one playoff game this next year to get a second year. He doesn't win a playoff game, he is out of here. At this point in his tenure here, you think that is the logical choice right? Put the pressure on him? Oh well. Damn Bengals.

Not that the Bengals sign FAs anyway, but if they were a team that signed FA, you'd never get any with a coach on a one year deal.

Del Rio has actually coached under Lewis before and they are friends, so it would make sense...... Except the part where Del Rio would probably like to be paid at the top of the DC chain. I'd say his resume warrants a high salary...... And we know how Mikey feels about paying assistants. I also wonder if, after 2 head coaching gigs, Del Rio is really willing to go back to being a coordinator. Maybe he figures it's time for the television booth.

I am so disappointed I can't express the frustration. I have been a fan since the team's inception. I can't see myself following another team, however, this year I will be a Bills fan. I've already canceled Sunday Ticket for next year and next year I will check scores...sometimes during the game, but most likely after the game or the next day. If they make the playoffs I may or may not watch the game (it's so disappointing to watch a playoff loss). I will no longer be wrapped up in the team's every move. I will probably check the draft to see who we got knowing Marvin probably won't play them for a couple of years and then promptly forget their names. I live in northwest Ohio, so I might pay more attention to the Lions. I will be a closet fan of the Redskins and Vikings and probably the Raiders if they indeed get Jon Gruden. I will no longer buy the grand kids helmets and jerseys. I will no longer buy Bengals golf/baseball hats.

At least I won't get frustrated with the lack of non half time adjustments, veteran play to a fault, smug arrogant press conferences, lack of information from the head coach (he hasn't earned the right to be Bill Belichick) and general overall disdain for fans and the press.

I will always love the Bengals. I really do.

But I can't do this anymore. Guess it's no more NFL football from this person until 2020 at the least.

if the family wants to do something other than sit around the house on Sunday and watch tv, I'm already there. I missed several games that way this season, and that's perfectly ok.

We'd have to have cap room to sign a free agent. Haven't you read our beat writers? We NEVER have cap room.

You have to save money for certain contract incentives, injuries and the rookie pool. Hobs says this takes about 60 million or so.

It just now dawned on me that I am stuck with my profile pic for the next 2 years..... I was really hoping to change it to a picture of Chunky Guenther or Darrin Simmons.
