The Bengals need new blood. Stop hiring from within. They likely won't, but if they do, they'll go super Bengals with it and hire some jagoff like Jeff Fisher, who extra mediocre, just like the Bengals.

We should have fired Marvin and promoted Mike Zimmer 4 years ago

I mean, isn't Fisher the obvious choice? He's pretty much the same dude as Marvin Lewis - Maybe just a little more scummy.

Fisher will be real comfortable going 7-9 here for the next 5 years. It will be delightful.

I really want to start over. I'm not really sure on the position coaches. I think we have some very good ones like Urban and Guenther.
I think we need an offensive minded head coach with a really good defensive coordinator.

If Urban is a good coach, I'd expect to see more out of our young wideouts. Coaching AJ doesn't make you good, it makes you lucky.

Guenther is average at best.

We know. Everyone knows.

But Mike Brown does shit the way he wants. If he wants Jeff Fisher, we're stuck with the clown.

Of these guys.... Love Reich. Think he would rebuild the offense. Has credibility as a former player.

Jon Gruden is not coming here. You could make a case for his brother.

David Shaw is not leaving Stanford unless he gets paid megabucks. Not happening.

Boomer Esiason has no coaching experience, is a dick, and would not get along with the players.

Greg Roman - No thanks.

Our best bet at this point is banking on Danny Snydor, the only owner worse than Mike Brown, firing Jay. I'd happily swoop him back up.

I'd be happy with it. Jay would have the offense humming right away. He's also close with Guenther and would probably retain him. While I'm not a huge Guenther fan, I could live with him getting another chance under another head coach and with an offense that can actually possess the football.
