Kaep has little to no case and Reid has absolutely no case. Reid didn't even wait until he was close to training camps and salary cap cuts to say he was being colluded against. He may even hurt Kaep's case.
I think Reid has a much better case because he's already got one owner who admitted he didn't sign him because of the kneeling ( Bengals dipshit ). All you need now is why discussion between that moron and another owner or the league. Plus Reid is a far superior player to Kaep.

We shall see. I'd be shocked if Kaep wins. Less shocked if Reid does but still surprised . Collusion is a low bar but the CDCteajs have to be really stupid to get caught

Didn't Reid turn down a contract offer earlier in the offseason?

Being a better player than Kaep isn't saying much. If Reid were a good player he would've been signed whether he kneeled or not. These teams will happily sign criminals if it means it will help them get more wins.

What I'm saying is pretty much ecsey metric available tells you Reid is a starting level CB. Same is not necessarily true for Kaep although he is certainly a top 64 QB. Reids case is much better overall so if Kaep wins then Reid certainly will imo. I think it's possible Reid wins but Kaep does not given all the info on Reid

It would be in violation of the collective bargaining agreement
I think collusion and the CBA is more about contractual money, vs the league wanting to protect itself from players they think will harm the brand. Hell maybe Hardy can sue too.

He is not going to win. I just don't think he can prove the case. Now if he was a good QB than I can understand it.

All kinds of them. Reid ranked no lower than 40th amongst DBs in any advanced state and was top 25 overall on most sites . Which makes him not only starting level but a DB1 for most teams

LOL what case do they have? The lawyers feel confident they'll win? Of COURSE they're going to say that... the longer they keep this in court the more they get paid. 2 teams showed collusion? Well good luck getting official statements, emails that kept 30+ other teams from signing one of them, if that even shows intent. "He's a distraction." Well that doesn't show intent to KEEP someone out of a league, that's just an honest statement.

Either way, I'm sure the partners in the law firms representing are laughing their asses off while they take money from two rich guys for some stupid case. The longer they can stay employed the more thousands of dollars Kaeperdouche and Eric "Missing on Tackles and Brains" Reid will spend.

It'll all come down to how good jury selection is if it actually goes that far... in which case they want to ensure they have every minority and poor white College kid who are pissed off at the World, possible.

There is no rule of law that says you have to hire players just because they're good. You can not want to sign a player because he has a poor attitude, or is a distraction. That's not collision. It's just business.

These entitled athletes are too stubborn to see that they're only being taken advantage of by their lawyers who are happy to take their money, knowing they have no case.

Problem with Reid, Vacarro, and Boston (all around the same age) is the safety market is just super low this year, and not everyone wants to sign him at CB since it'd likely cost more money and he may not translate to the position.

Even Earl Thomas was generating fairly low trade interest because of the amazing free agent pool of safeties (many of which are better than Reid) and the crazy draft class of safeties and DBs in general (one of the bigger years for DBs in probably the last decade + for the draft - excluding 2010 of course with 2 draft classes in one pretty much).

So yah. And nobody wants a whiny racist bitch boy on their team who was never great for the 49ers locker room anyway, same as Kaeperdouche. There was a fuck ton of people that kneeled who have jobs, so good luck getting a jury or Court room to agree based on hearsay and assuming things were done for reason.

They are going to repeatedly ask his lawyers to show FACTUAL EVIDENCE (video, witness testimony, etc.) between TWO teams or the NFL and one team that says, "We are not hiring him because of protests." Which is going to be difficult to hold up anyway... NFL will IMMEDIATELY argue that teams do not want that distraction and that they do not hire players for many reasons, one of which is a locker room distraction.

Reid's HUGE argument is: "They kept asking me about the protests in Cincinnati." Uh, so fucking what? Cincy also drafted a great safety (Jesse Bates) in the 2nd round who I think will be great, and he'd likely be a lot cheaper and actually try hard.

Summary: BOTH cases have zero merit, and I would totally expect two dumbass entitled blue state dorks to think they deserve everything. Will be hilarious when they lose knowing the hundreds of thousands they blew.

Sure I agree but collusion is a pretty low bar. Of course teams have to be idiots to get caught but tge Nengal not on already did half reids case for him . My point was that a collusion case is easier to make when you're clearly a starting level NFL player as opposed to not especially when you've already got one team on record

One owner? Do you know what the word collusion means?

Collusion as defined by the CBA is between as few as 2 teams or 1 team and the league itself. Reid already has 1 team on the record so his case is half proven already. You're not the only person who apparently wasnt aware of this so glad I could edify you

On record doing what? The 49ers f***ing offered Reid a contract before he sued the NFL. He has no case. This is a publicity stunt.

Hey I'm with you. I'm just saying being offered a contract doesnt preclude collusion. If 2 teams collude and 30 dont its still collusion per the CBA. Clearly Reid thinks he can win prove collusion and get paid far bigger. He's halfway there already. Sure its bs but that's the rule
