I've seen this move numerous times.

Mets dig themselves a hole early in the game....go m.i.a. for most of the remainder...and then almost always end up a buck short at the end. Too little too late.

Thanks for getting this thread started...I had a bunch of stuff to do earlier today...and was just gonna leave this series finale in the May thread.

Now the Buccos will be in Queens for the weekend.
