Remake of the original Purple Rain CD.....an extra CD of never heard tracks before....and a DVD of a concert from Syracuse in the 80's. I just ordered mine.

I've never gotten into Prince because his music isn't on Youtube, and I'm not going to buy it online. Purple Rain is ok (the song, haven't heard the entire album). Raspberry Beret is great (I actually did buy that one on iTunes)

Never was a big Prince fan.
And now that they play his shit non stop because he died, I hate it.

I had enough of it when it first came out.

I wish they would have released the new music separately, I don't need Purple Rain remastered. And I can't stand recorded concerts. I'll buy it though. iTunes has 2 versions with songs that are live/extended/remixed and one without. I'll just need to figure out which one I want. Prince was a genius, certainly in the conversation for the greatest musician of all time. He had tons of unreleased stuff so I can only imagine the first few post-death releases will be really good.
