Gazette-Mail has learned WVU aims to name Joe Wickline offensive coordinator. Contracts for Damon Cogdell, Joe DeForest will not be renewed.

Joe Wickline was the OC fired after two games by Charlie Strong..but I know that Dana and Wickline have ties back to OSU....could be a good hire for Texas recruiting...

Wickline was involved in some offenses that produced fantastic rushing numbers pre Texas. I think Tom Osborne would have had a tough time making the Texas run game be consistent with all the loses and youth the Longhorns have had up front the last 2 years.
Might work, might not but I get the thinking on Dana's part. The QB situation ain't gettin any better any time soon so.... Need to get our run game as good as it can possibly get. The RBs should be pretty good so now, 2 Oline coaches, one that is also an OC. Potentially a good move IMO.
