Draft lotto is tonight. Thought it would be fun (ok not that fun, I'm just bored) for us to predict who wins. Winner gets a polite golf clap and a head nod.

My prediction is the Kings win just so I can see @Bolts celebrate.

Here are the odds for each team to win #1:

Suns 25%
Grizzlies 19.9%
Mavs 13.8%
Hawks 13.7%
Magic 8.8%
Bulls 5.3%
Kings 5.3%
Cavs 2.8%
Knicks 1.7%
Sixers 1.1%
Hornets 0.8%
Pistons 0.7%
Clippers 0.6%
Nuggets 0.5%

@Wamu if you could give me 1 of 2 options

1. The Cavs beat Boston...

or

2. The Cavs get swept by Boston but win the lotto

I choose win the lotto- since it would mean LBJ is going nowhere and will retire a Cav.

Lebron: Koby, I hate everyone in this draft. You better trade that pick to the 76ers for Jerryd Bayless. Dude is a baller.
Koby: Um, Lebron, that's not how this works. Plus that's horrible trade valu...
Lebron: MAKE IT HAPPEN OR I'M WALKING

Lebron: Rich, I just told the Cavs to trade the pick to the 76ers for Jerryd Bayless, LOLZ. Got us more cap space too. Tell Embiid and Simmons I'm on the way.

that being said- if the Cavs dont win- which i mean- they wont--- i hope either the Suns or Grizz win.

The Suns would be so much fun with either Ayton or Doncic. Either would be a great combo with Booker.

crazy night for Cavs fans

how often does a team play in the Conference Finals AND have a lotto pick? Unless you are Boston and absolutely SWINDLED the Nets.

You can't assume LeBron would stick around for a rookie. Come on now wiggy. Barring a major roster overhaul he realizes he's window for a title is just about shut in Cleveland. It would be nice for all you Cavs fans if he finishes his career in Cleveland. I just don't see that happening though.

Okay I never thought of that. Guess there's a very small chance that could happen.

what really has to blow is being Brooklyn or LA and not having a pick- and having traded that pick for guys that have been gone for years.......

thats why this stuff just doesnt happen anymore in the league....no one is trading unprotected picks years and years out in advance anymore--- well except Riley. lol.

but seriously no one else does it anymore after the Nets got burned. Its just too risky. Especially considering the advnatage of having a great young player on an inexpeisnve rookie contract.

the Sixers and Celtics could probably still trump a Cavs offer for Kawhi--- but it would be extremely extremely expensive. You dont want to give up hofrod, Tatum and a first for Kawhi--- and i doubt the Sixers want to give up Simmons---- or say Fultz, Saric, Covington and a first........no one else out there really could beat a Cavs offer unless the Sixers or Celts go really really hard

A trade like that would probably have to involve Tatum. I have no idea if Ainge would be willing to do that.

i dont think he would....plus with Kawhi makes soo much more money.

The Sixers are a much more logical destination...i dont think Boston ahs to do anything major....they are loaded for years to come and have a great coach.

McCollum, Aminu, Future 1st.

for

Kawhi and Gasol

Spurs get rid of Gasol's big contract and get back a starting SF and a premiere wing guard to pair with Murray.

Hey, hey, hey! I don't want to see Kawhi playing in the land of the cheese steaks. No reason to make Philly better than Boston. And LeBron should stay the fuck outta Philly too.

Lmao at McCollum.

Goran Dragic, Josh Richardson, Justise Winslow, and Bam Adebayo for Kawhi Leonard and Patty Mills.

Now that is a package worthy for The Klaw.
