The ESPN-only presentation delivered a monster 16.0 overnight for the Crimson Tide’s overtime victory, up 8% from the ESPN-only presentation last season, a game which featured a dramatic, last minute touchdown to win the game.

So if ratings would have been that much better why didn't Disney broadcast it

They did...when they played Oregon.

And it wasn't even a good game. Ohio St dominated them.

The main reason this game got such good ratings is because they all thought they were watching the end of the Alabama dynasty. Kind of like people who I won't name who claimed they wouldn't watch such a game coming in at halftime talking about how they loved watching Alabama get dominated.

The haters got trolled hardcore last night.
