The crooked one notched up another shameful victory built on his dishonest strategy of playing the gentleman's sport. We can always trust him to turn a blind eye when he gets the benefit of doubt by a blind umpire. Now Liberal Bacon, if that's not a prime example of myopic vision I don't know what is.

it's not his job to make line calls....BUT, there's no way he didn't know that was out.

i think fed would've given his opponent the point.

One of the main reasons I dislike clay court tennis. Cheaters can point to one of the 99 million ball marks on the court and say that the one that supports their view is the real ball mark of that last shot. Hopefully, they put a rule change in barring using the "supposed" ball mark as the basis for a call.

Nadal's shot was out by a mile. It was not even close. Goffin got screwed.

It might have been a good match not saying Goffin would have won. But Nadal made sure he had the match in his bag. Not the right example to set for young players.

I agree in that I wish they'd use Hawk Eye. At least for the FO.

But I still don't think they're close to implementing it.

tennis fans enjoy clay court tennis.

fans of an individual player or two do not.

i do agree about the line calls, though. and yeah, they'll never implement hawk eye at the french. maybe they will at the ms1000 events someday, but not soon enough, imo.

Good point. If the Madrid Masters was innovative enough to try blue clay, as well as that interesting looking trophy, they could probably try hawk eye some day.

Nadal is disgusting. Imagine having to shake hands with him after a full match of buttpicking. Or imagine the ball kids having to retrieve the balls after Nadal handles them with his picking hand.
