I had a 69 Mach 1 with a 351 Cleveland (came with a Windsor I suppose) and that was a great engine. This picture is shortly after I had the car painted and still didn't have stripes. Like a dummy, I sold the Mach 1 and this 67 GT S code (390 4 speed), and a 70 SS Chevelle, all within a couple of months. Needless to say, I wish I had them back.

Just saw one of these roll over the block on Barrett-Jackson.
AMC/AMX 390 engine.

I think I was the only one that liked these cars when they came out.

So the buddy who works on the car show with me and my wife and has literally every muscle car I've dreamed about... Yeah.. he had one of those too in pristine condition in his garage...

Pure insanity.

Not just has a 71 Boss 351, but has the invoice ($4651.50) which according to the original invoice on one of his two 69 boss 429s is 14 bucks more.

He did an interview for Mecum earlier this year when he sold a bunch of cars with them.

This looks too much like a Camaro. There is a sneek peek of the new Charger though. Chrysler should re-open Plymouth and produce the Barracuda under that original banner.

Supposedly, this is the 2017 Dodge Charger. True muscle and a striking resemblance to its grandfather.

If ford puts this Mustang into production, it reportedly will come from the factory with 740 horses from a twin turbo badass powerplant. I'll take one as well. More of the new muscle!!

I was always in the minority when it came to the 1973 GTO, but I always loved this car.
Could be had with the 400cid or 455cid engine and handled much better than any before it.
Respectable 15 second Quarter Mile times, and with a supertune would do much better than that.

Had good buddy that got this new the same year I got my pontiac.
Always liked it even though I wouldn't really call it a muscle car, but not much to choose from that year.
1977 Olds 442.
In stock form, my pontiac 400 was just a little bit faster than his olds 350.

67 Firebird.jpg

This was my older brother's '67 Firebird in the late 70's. My cousin had tweaked the 400 long block engine, tossed in Muncie "Rock Crusher" 4 speed and some sweet Cragar SS rims with BF Goodrich radials.

That car was fucking F A S T.

I love a 57 Chevy!

I actually liked the '55 best.
But never really understood why they were so popular because never have been a huge fan myself.
Probably because they produced gobs of them and were cheap for so long.

I know that when my wife sees this car she makes noises I can't get her to repeat on my best night.
