Oh no, didn't miss it. But if you're really that fickle then I think spending that much $ on a game is a waste for you. If the stipulation on going to a game in the 2nd damn week of the season is that the team has to have had a certain number of wins, then just save your money or spend it on something else. Just think how terrible of a time you will have if you go and they lose!

I'm not too worried, on paper this team should be much better than our teams of the recent past. But would it kill these guys to start out hot for once? They still can.

They could turn this 0-3 record into 10-3 and everyone will forget about this series. Do eet!

Indeed. No need to overvalue these initial games. It's not like we are playing a basement dweller team here. About 70% of the "experts" pick Houston to win this division. They are going to be tough to beat, and the season has many peaks and valleys. Even the peaks and valleys have peaks and valleys when you play 162 games.

I actually heard Blowers say that a Mariners hitter couldn't catch a break when he lined out to the RF nearly in his tracks. What break do you suppose to get when you hit it right at a fielder?

And to me what is even worse than their accumulative .145, is their inability to move runners over and then in with outs.

The numbers regarding hard hit balls into defensive shifts will get better for the M's, no doubt. It's brutal having it happen in the first few games of the season.

But nobody gets to say it's too early to be critical of the team's performance while at the same time chocking failure up to luck/magic.

My favorite thing about Jedi/Servais so far is the accountability they hold their players to, and I'm sure they squash any of those kinds of excuses immediately.
