M's Draft 2017

Jerry was on the pre game yesterday on the radio side and was talking draft, I guess he said three names, I didn't hear the names though.....

Been looking at some draft stuff for a few weeks now. Tough to really get much info beyond the first few rounds but with everything I have read it sounds like there should be some solid names available when the M's pick.

Evan White1B out of Kentucky.
I am a big fan of this pick, he was on my top 5 for guys I liked that could be available when picked. He matches the Dipoto type guy. Very athletic, could play the outfield and his hitting ability has the potential to get better.

I like it could easily be pretty quick through the minors.

I saw him on most mocks going in the mid-late first round. That is interesting that he fell like he did.

Considering the surging talent in the outfield this year, 1B probably ends up being the quickest path to the big leagues. This spells an end to the Vogelbach experiment IMO.
