How's season 3 been? With the advent of netflix, I find there's certain series I prefer to watch in a binge format. Mr. Robot is one of those. I enjoyed some aspects of the second season, but as it went on, with certain plots it lost me, was curious how season 3 has been for everyone. Don't need details, haven't watched anything, just looking for more of a thumbs up or thumbs down.

Other series I'm still waiting on watching, latest season of Dirk Gently, and one where I'm not sure if I'm one or two seasons behind, though I know the show is over, Orphan Black. So many different choices out there, for most of the time I just want some background noise or something I've already seen.

Did watch the youtube red series, Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes On Television over the last few days. Only 8 episodes, so very short, only the first two free on youtube, and as they mention throughout the show, why would you pay the same price for youtube red that you would get for Amazon, also reference to youporn and red tube and why they would choose to call it youtube red. i enjoyed it.

It's MUCH better than season 2. Pretty much every episode is advancing the plot and keeping things moving. Season 2 was just a gigantic waste of time but this season has saved the show for me.

S3 is miles better than S2 imo. I'm booting up the finale right now though, so we'll see how that holds up.

Good. This is a wise choice because Mr. Robot has one of those plots where the longer it goes, the higher chance it gets really really shitty. You can only keep the intrigue up so long before it drags.

I have generally enjoyed it, but agree with many of the comments that it is often too clever for its own good. I am invested enough that I am looking forward to season 4 though.

One thing that irritates me is Irving, the Bobby Cannavale character. The idea that this cartoon caricature of a used car salesman is somehow such an awesome fixer and enforcer that only Chinese hackers know about him and utilize him is just cringe-worthy and usually pulls me out of the moment.
