1. San Diego State - They had a bye week, now face their arch nemesis from last year in South Alabama
2. Air Force - At Utah State is usually a game Air Force loses pretty amazing but if Air Force can win this Saturday against Navy, it would take a surprising loss for them to not go unbeaten
3. Boise State - Maddening inconsistent and this team only plays for the first half, while not showing up in the second
4. Colorado State - weren't awful against Minnesota and finally found a QB, plus the blowout loss to Colorado doesn't look near as bad now
5. Utah State- Lost to Air Force but that isn't the worst thing a team in this conference did
6. New Mexico - had a bye week
7. Wyoming - they lost to Eastern Michigan which is pretty bad normally, Eastern Michigan might be improved this year though
8. Nevada - To sum up how bad they were against Purdue, Nevada was at the goal line with a chance to take the lead with under 4 minutes left, Nevada failed 3 plays in a row then missed the 27 yard game tying field goal.
9. Fresno State - The good news...The led 31-0 against Tulsa. The bad news....They still lost
10. Hawai'i - They finally got a break they badly needed
11. San Jose State- They lost 44-10 to a winless Iowa State team that lost to a fcs team, San Jose State is one of the conferences biggest disappointments
12. UNLV - they lost to Idaho and have very poor QB play
