I think Missouri has done pretty well. The last few seasons have been a bit brutal but they’ve had some good success all in all the last 10 to 15 years and some nice finishes in the rankings.

Obviously you didn't comprehend my post. There were several SEC groupies saying it would be at least five years before Mizzou had a chance in hell of winning more than a few conference games.

Why would anyone think time would help Missouri?

Not one but two division titles in their first three years in the SEC.

When the fuck did division titles start to mean something?

They are in the middle of the country. Where the fuck would they go?

Yes, the secret to controlling the US is to control Missouri.

The Greeks knew it, the Germans knew it, and now YOU know it

2010s (through 2017): Missouri

The back-to-back appearances in the SEC Championship Game in 2013-14 made a lot of believers of Gary Pinkel. Coming off a 5-7 first season in the conference, the 2013 Tigers went 12-2, including five wins against ranked opponents, and finished No. 5. The decade isn’t over yet, but Missouri has a history of being overlooked.

Rest of the top 5: UCF, Auburn, Michigan State/Mississippi State (tie)
Don't forget Missouri in the 60's. Look it up they won 10 games in 61 and won the Orange Bowl. They won 10 games in 69 too and this was back when they played 10 regular season games plus a bowl.

I agree with you about the Pinkell Mizzou years. In 2007 and and 2013 they were one win away from going to the NCG. Speaking of Underrated, how about Pinkell as a coach. He was a horrible interviewer which gave him a bad rap but look at the 9 win average from 2006-2015. He was a great coach.

When you are the king, only titles matter.

When you are the prince, conference titles matter.

When you are a peasant, division titles are worth tooting horns over.
