the smaller jordan was superior. also, triple doubles today are a lot easier to come by. guys used to try and take you out if you were after one.
Blocks Steals and turnovers interesting.
NBA all 1st team defense?
OP gargles Lebron's balls.
Lebron James is like 7 years younger than MJ at this stage.
MJ had 2 post-prime seasons to drag his numbers down a bit. Its apples and oranges.
It is reasonable to assume that if MJ did not take that break he would have had 8 not 6 rings. Wake me up when LBJ gets even near 5.
....And MJ took 2 seasons off in the middle of his prime.
Crazy how good MJ was. Just on another planet from everyone else.
If he played today he would be EASILY be an over 40ppg player every single season
If he played today against lesser competition and rules catered to perimeter players he would have more 'ships than Russell. Meanwhile Lebron only has 3.
When Lebron gets 5 or more, maybe we can start discussing. But he probably won't even get to 4 at least not as the "go to player". Maybe at the end of his career as a role player on a super-stacked team
