Instead of waiting on the hot seat next year, it looks like he is getting out before the season.

Mizzou's Frank Haith is negotiating to become Tulsa's next head coach - CBSSports.com

Inherited a good team from Mike Anderson and has gotten a lot of good transfers but he forgot to build a base of players. Clarkson and Brown declared so Mizzou basically lost all of their scoring.

Tulsa can have this con artist as far as Im concerned.

Haith has always been a good recruiter, but the results just haven't been there.

He was able to recruit talented players when he was the coach at Miami, but he just couldn't win with them.

This was the first year since Haith has been at Missouri in which they have missed the NCAA Tournament. I'm guessing if they missed it again next year again, then his seat was going to be getting hot.

His stock kind of plummeted at Mizzou. Who do you want to replace him?
He basically left in an obvious rebuilding year after 2 of our best players left early to 'maybe' get into the 2nd round and the other player was a Senior. Then his top recruit got arrested. Haith is leaving a program he trashed and as much as Mizzou nation thought Mike Anderson was being overpaid.....Haith is hot garbage and shouldn't be in a major program.

I want someone young and with a system. The next coach is going to need a few years

kim anderson to the main stage??
That would be the popular choice. My guess is that Alden will probably try to pick up someone young and from a mid major like Louisiana Techs coach or something like that.

There are coaches out there that can do it quickly. Go get a mid-major coach that built a program up from scratch rather quickly. Avoid a mid major coach that inherited success and has just barely maintained it for a couple years.

Surprised by this. Although not as surprised as when he got the Mizzou job in the first place considering his involvement with all that Shapiro stuff. He was way more involved than the football team. Had the NCAA been competent, Haith would be unemployed with a show clause right now. Plus, he was just an average coach in Miami too.

He new he was about to be fired from Mizzou by next season…..he was able to trick somebody else into more money. Unreal. Haith is awful and Mizzou says thanks to Tulsa

Kim Anderson appears to officially be the new coach. The older Mizzou fans Ive talked to about this are ecstatic and the younger ones seem to think he'll be in over his head jumping to the SEC for D2.

Didn't realize MIZZOU's basketball program was considered a stepping stone for coaches. Tulsa? Really?
