OK lets forget the defense which has holes. Everyone returns on the offense that led the SEC in scoring at 37.5 PPG, except draft pick WR J'Mon Moore. This team has future draft picks at QB (Drew Lock), RB (Damarea Crocket), OL (Paul Adams), TE (Albert Okweubunam), and WR (Emanuall Hall). If the defense shows up half the time they are a New Years Day team. They are a lot like the 2007 Mizzou team.

More pre-season All Conference picks than all but 2 teams

6 years in the SEC

2 division titles

Not bad for a "shitty team that will never compete in the SEC"

Good_Code and Mutiger are going to get along great.

Hey @steelerssb do they put retarded juice in the water up there or what?
I guess it's certainly POSSIBLE, but pretty much everything has to go perfect. They've got the pieces to be a high-caliber offense (Lock, running back group, veteran O-Line, Albert O + Hall) but at the same time it needs to be proven against winning teams. This same offense looked like crap against Pur fucking due and didn't fare much better without Heupel in the bowl game. It wasn't that long ago there was talk of if Lock's legacy at Mizzou would be that of a downer. It wouldn't totally surprise me if this offense it top 5 but I'll believe it when I see it.

top ends dont graduate they leave early
Beckner 100 percent would have been a first round pick, probably top 15-20. Lock probably made the right decision coming back. If they QB class wasn't so loaded at the top it might have been a different story.

Eh, yes and no. Beckner for sure but Lock probably would've been dependent on pre-draft stuff. I saw him projected anywhere from the 1st to the 3rd round before he decided to stay.

Well, what happened to the Oklahoma offense after Heuple left.

Maybe there's your answer.

But it's Missouri.
They'll have to show me.

All valid points but more telling is how their season went. They were 1-5 and seemed to have no hope when coach Odom gave his big speech. They then ripped off 6 straight wins. They wouldn't have lost to too many teams the way they were playing during that streak.

Here's how Athlon preseason mag ranks the Tigers offensive units for 2018.
QB- #8
RB- #17
WR/TE- #10
OL- #6

Nothing quite puts a pep in a team's step more than beating the every loving fuck out of Idaho.

Yes, I know what division they are in

2 > South Carolina, ATM, Vandy, Kentucky
Well yeah, those teams mentioned have contributed to the east being one of the weakest divisions in CFB over the last few years. The SEC CG has proven as much in most cases.
