Mitchell Robinson to skip college, prepare for NBA | Kentucky Sports Radio

Says screw college ball all together.

First of all, he was too much of a talent to play at WKU and obviously regrets the decision. Whom ever is in his ear is directing the kid down the wrong path in my opinion.

He's obviously talented but again, someone directed him to WKU, which was a mistake because he wouldn't have gotten much better and now, he won't have the ability to compete in any way for another year while preparing for the NBA.

Now, I'm sure someone will take a chance on this kid because of his size and skill set but what does it really say about the kid if he is already acting like this without a solid backup plan.

I'm probably being a little over the top here but this whole situation is a bit of a head-scratcher.

Robinson's godfather, Shammond Williams, is on the staff at WKU.

Apparently, Robinson has "baggage", whatever that means.

I thought Shammond Williams left WKU? Which might be why Robinson was wanting to leave? I could be completely wrong about this though.

This has nothing to do with him being poorly coached on his college decision.

The dude went and got in trouble so he was suspended. He left school and doesn't want to sit a year before playing college ball.

If you're blaming anyone, it's the parents for raising a jackass

He left and then they suspended him. Not the other way around.

It's silly he would have to sit out just cause of summer classes.

My sister was a D1 athlete and took summer classes at the local D1 school every summer and had no issues.

It looks like he is now back on campus and enrolled in class hoping to return to the team. I'm guessing sitting out a year or living in China didn't seem like a great idea.

This guy clearly has issues.

He was back, now he's gone again...

Whoever is giving this kid advice should be taken out back somewhere and beaten.
