From what I heard he called them all soft.....not just the offense. The defense is most definitely not soft, but the way they are built is to play with a lead, not to be trailing by 13-17 points, which is what the offense does when they turn the ball over as much as they do.

If he called the entire team soft then in regards to the D he's probably talking about those times that they gave up.

I don't know if McCoy was the scapegoat, but I do know something had to be done. Way too many chiefs on this coaching staff - especially on offense.

Anderson and sadly for me Marshall seem very possible. I expect Anderson to go. Booker is our best RB on our roster and I expect his PT to pick up the rest of the year.

After further review, BMarsh would still have $6MM dead money so not much cap savings but he's not worth $7MM a year. You can easily draft a 2nd or 3rd round ILber to play better than him.

Booker last game took about 70% of the snaps. He's already our full time starter.

Washington could transition tag Cousins meaning they could match an offer sheet.
I wouldn't mind drafting a top 5 QB and signing someone like Eli if he is cut loose.

I think SF could still flip Jimmy G.

I'm not advocating Jimmy G to Denver only that SF may be in the market at the top of the draft for a QB.

If we buy or trade for a QB I want a proven NFL top caliber QB. We can draft someone to compete with the other drafted QBs.

Mike McCoy will have a very interesting history in his Bronco's biography.

This go around - he seems to have failed at just the thing he was famous for doing with his last two QBs. I don't think it was the offense - as much as the execution of it (dropped balls - ill timed penalties -missed blocks) One thing for sure is - the players are not on the same page with each other. Colossal failure!

Is Marshall worth $1 MM?(the difference between the $7mm and the 6mm dead money) I certainly think so. To me the better idea is to draft that 2nd/3rd rounder at LB and have him replace Davis who is gone after this year anyway. Then have the rookie and Marshall be your ILBs.
