I just read the Bears are gearing up to sign and make him their new Starting QB, 12 Million a year once FA starts.

I think he can be a good QB in this league and the Bears seem to be a very good fit for him. Though I think this is just more proof of the Horrid Nature of the 2017 QB prospects...

As a fan of a division rival, I fully support the Bears in this spectacular and well-informed decision.

I think he could be a good #1 QB for a team but I'm not spending 12 million on him especially when the Bears should be drafting a QB of the future pretty early in the draft this year.

Who do you see as their future QB?

Seems like a nice bridge to Darnold or Rosen to me. But hey, if the Bears want to spin the wheels of Glennon- knock yourselves out. One less team drafting Watson or Mahomes in my book.

They should do both sign Glennon to a 2 year contract while the sit Trubinsky or Watson. Glennon may not ever be a star, but he can be a pretty good stand in while the Bears draft pick gets used to the game at the NFL level. Glennon played pretty well when he was the starter for the Bucs.

The Bears are a desperate team.

Glennon's a better QB than Osweiler was at this same time last season.

If they do that they should probably keep Jeffery though. Glennon can make those throws to big covered WRs. And Jeffery can make those catches as a big covered WR.

I thought he got a raw deal in Tampa because he only got a handful of starts before they yanked the reins from him. That said, imo he can be a starter for a losing team, but may not be a playoff caliber starting QB...i.e. when there are expectations to play well, he might not be able to deliver.

Perfect for a team rebuilding. As stated, find your QB of the future, let him learn and let this guy take the brunt of your 2 rebuilding years. Then hopefully your QB of the future is good to go.

At least Glennon has heart and desire to win. Plus I would expect he would be a good teammate and someone a player would play for, unlike the Bears prior QB.

Speaking of which, why has he not been cut yet?

Alshon Jeffery might not even be there, who is he going to throw to?
