Charlie Morton was mowing them down last night. I don't think I've ever seen him throw the hook more effective than he was on Thursday. He had 8 punchouts, and I think at least half of them ended with his curveball falling off the end of the table. Hughes and Watson did mop-up duty, and game one of four goes to the good guys.

It was nice to see Happ and then Morton pitch well after Cole and Liriano weren't as sharp.

Obviously Marte's walk-off was awesome, but that bomb to left-center by Kang was something to behold. My goodness.

Kang was the biggest steal we have ever gotten in free agency.

Passable at short and his bat plays anywhere, that is extremely rare.
