But what are we going to do about the GLARING problem we have with our middle relievers giving up so many unnecessary hits and runs?

Its going to be a problem when you have 9 pitchers who consider themselves starters. Seems you just keep them on starting pitchers regimes and give them a throw day halfway thru and a long bullpen session and have them unavailable to pitch. I saw it as a problem with Cahill, Richard, Warren and Wood still thinking they are starters, it leaves the same three or four short guys to pitch too much. I dont think they will be able to go 5 if they do need a spot start now. Just keep hearing them being called insurance, but no doubt a move will be made if they need another starter.
