How in the world did the team end up in Rome anyway?
it's an illegal trip paid for by a booster under the false pretenses of a "study abroad" program in which they study nothing.

Michigan has one week in the Rome area to take part in all kinds of unique once in a lifetime activities and experiences... but those idiots decide to waste time playing paintball.

Michigan football plays paintball in Italy

They can play paintball anytime they want back in Michigan.

WTF is wrong with Harbaugh?

18 year old kids playing paint ball or checking out art museums. My guess is they are doing a little of both to mix it up

You're assuming any kid takes a study abroad to actually study something. And from what I've seen of the trip, they've actually been to and seen some pretty interesting, historical and educational places. You're telling me these kids get nothing out of going to the Vatican? Touring the Roman sites?

So you expect them to do something educational 24/7? How dare they sleep or have any fun!
It's funny how you are so much of a homer that you believe that this is a legitimate "study abroad" program and not an illegal vacation paid for by a booster. If an Ohio State booster paid for the team to go to Spain you would be losing your shit over it.

Nah, I really truly don't care. I'd be fine with any school doing something like this because really, what's the harm? For some of these kids, if not a majority, it will be the only time in their lives when they leave US soil. I think Harbaugh has found a number of really smart ways to do things for the team and recruiting within NCAA rules.

He needs divine intervention to beat Ohio State.

"Hey, Pope man. You got any ideas about how I can beat tOSU?"

The clergy molestation humor is in bad taste and outdated. I can't believe I am quoting these two knuckleheads as quotes that are both relevant and funny. If the truth be known, I've said a few words to the "Big Guy" for a break or two against ohio state.

Don't you have to at least win your conference to meet the Pope?
