Meh, I've seen Ohio State play some pretty bad games against some pretty bad teams and then beat Michigan. I'm hoping the Notre Dame game was more of an indication of how we play this year rather than this game against Akron. I'm not too concerned given we've proven how good we can be already; now we just have to work on consistency.

I would be wondering if ND is worse than what we all think. Could be giving too much credit for a win against a bad team. Will soon see how good Mich really is.

The way I see it, my day could have been much much worse - so I might as well be happy about the outcome.

Possibly, I mean - it is ND. But, on the other hand, ND is coming off of a BCS national championship game and it's unlikely that they're much worse than a top 25 team. Even if they were only in the top 40 teams, we still destroyed them on offense and should have done the same to one of the worst teams in CFB.

I'm guessing we just overlooked Akron, Gardner had a horrible individual day (as far as turnovers) and because of that it kept Akron in the game and gave them hope.

notre dame didn't deserve to be in the BCS Championship.

I still think you guys are about two years off from destroying folks. Just not there yet.

OK, well, let's put it this way - they were undefeated last year and played a pretty hard schedule and while not the same team, they're certainly a team that ranks in the top half of CFB rather than right at the bottom.

Yes ND did belong in the NCG. They were undefeated and Bama wasn't. Bama needed the BCS cry babies to get them into that game. Bama should have been # 4 in my opinion. But my opinion does not count

I agree.

Alabama didn't deserve it either.
