This will be one of the interesting but good and refreshing to see developments this season. What the style of play will be -- especially late in games. One thing is for certain, things won't be as predictable and dry in those situations as they had been for too long already.

I always say, game 1 preseason/regular season is just as important as game 8/82 of the preseason/regular season. That being said, I did not watch or keep up with a single second of this game until I saw the final score. There is always a massive tendency to make too much out of every win or loss -- especially within this fan base.

But from what I've gathered, the Heat executed their game plan as desired in this initial game.

I didn't watch either. I just had twitter open and just went off what I saw Ira & Manny Navarro tweet. Based on what I read pace is much faster, better shooters, and Winslow shot is improved.

I rather he come off the bench. The bench is always iffy for us. And if we start using guys to start that would better serve as bench players -- we may be left with no production on our bench as is too often the case.
