Game Thread: Miami Heat Month of November Game Thread

I just realized the month had just started and I botched it with the game thread.

After the win tonight vs Chicago

We now go on the road at DEN, at LAC, at GS, at PHX, at UTA and then we end the longest road trip of season at DET

Then a home-and-home vs the Wizards, then back at home for 2 vs Ind and Bos - finish the month with the last 4 on the road vs Min,Chi, Cle and NYK

With the west coast road trip it will be a tough stretch for the Heat this month.

I would say playing at least at .500 would be a decent month - but would you say that expectation is realistic?

JJ set to return per Ira Winderman. Hassan sore but expected to play - only question will be minutes. And lets see if Spo finally has the balls to take Richardson out of lineup.

For the first time in a while, Ira is provided with a chance to answer some really good Ask Ira questions

JJ to come off the bench. But the bad news is that Josh Richard, inexplicably, will start again

That would be Richardson - but maybe he isn't worthy of getting his last name completely typed out until further notice

Good start in this Hassan-Jokic game -- I mean Heat-Nuggets

+9 after 1 for Heat. If they can tighten things up on defense, they could pad their lead a little more in this one

Here is that second quarter lapse that usually carries over into the third that can often hurt the Heat

Terrible foul from Hassan there - that was Richardson-like

Heat able to overcome their second quarter lapses on both ends of floor and take a +7 lead into half

Hopefully that shot to the face gets Richardson going

And the Heat have given up the lead. This happens way too much - the opponent finds a mismatch against the Heat and they feed it until the very end - whereas the Heat seem to do a good job of identifying a mismatch in their favor but seem to refuse to go to it - at least to the extent they should.

Heat continue to settle for shots thats why the low FTs numbers and the turnover issues just won't end - its what happens when certain guys who shouldn't handle the ball handle it more than they should

No reason for Richardson in this game at this juncture - of course Spo has him out there

Again, the Heat not getting to line enough and not executing on the few times they get there - this one is about over now

Finally a bucket for Richardson will probably mean very little if the Heat don't turn it up after this timeout
