Ellington with an assisted dagger
Not going to lie these past 2 games shocked me
Heat are going to survive another one
I think thats the case for a lot of people - its 2 games most people probably had the Heat losing. Lets see what they can pull off against the Bucks sunday afternoon
Hey, Hassan is going to end up finishing the 4th in the game -- thats gotta tickle some feathers
24-17 through the first 41 this season - just gotta hope we dont go 11-30 the rest of the way
Great win on 2nd night of back to back. Team is looking good and nice to have Hassan playing at a high level. 7 games over 500 with the last two difficult road victories has been impressive. Let’s see if these guys can keep it up.
oh,look, the troll made another cameo during a way to show his fake fanhood
Yep. Great start to a difficult stretch. Now we get 3 days off
Waiters stole money from Miami
Looks like Dion has made the unfortunate, but expected decision to have season-ending surgery.
At least the Heat have played well in his absence and hopefully will continue. While other teams would crumble losing an important player for extended time/the season, I think the Heat will continue to find ways to win no matter the circumstances.
So thats the narrative we are going to go with on this matter?
Correct. He knew he needed surgery before he signed that contract. Didn't disclose that information until media day in September then said he will play through the pain and take care of the surgery at the end of the season......but yet here we are on January 11 and Waiters out for the season.
This was a robbery
I do agree with this so I'm not too worried about the team winning games without him because they already been doing that pretty frequently. Just feels like he's stealing money

‘Infectious’ energy, quickness, toughness. The many ways Bam Adebayo is being felt
Robbery is one way to look at it. Or just a normal person who thought he could play through the pain of a particular injury but it didnt turn out that way in the end. Many guys on this team have made similar decisions at a time or another with different injuries -- thankfully no other ones have resulted in having to opt for season-ending procedures...but it happens.
Apparently Bam and Hassan are working towards nicknames of "Pork and Beans" according to Ira Winderman.
I think that could catch on considering there is a community in Miami known by such a name.
Justise Winslow will look to give it a go tomorrow afternoon
An early Scrub Battier moment from none other than Josh Richardson and his usual bad fouls
