Melvin Gordon will be another great college RB from Wisconsin but will more than likely suck in the NFL like your typical Wisconsin RB. But frankly, who cares. His collegiate accomplishments are impressive.......

More talented maybe...but I think the national perception is that Wisconsin's offense produced backs with big numbers regardless of the talent level, from Ron Dayne on down. it's why Montee didn't win it with numbers that would have been a guarantee 15-20 years ago.

The fact that you have multiple backs all putting up big numbers only reinforces this. I'm not saying that I believe this, just saying that I think that is the perception.

Didn't Trent Richardson put up big numbers? And he sucked so bad Cleveland traded him.
