I wouldn't be surprised if Gordon had 200+ yards by halftime against Iowa.

Guys, do not be fooled because of his 408 yard World Record breaking performance against Nebraska.

We break records all the time for opposing RB's.

Western Illinois held Gordon to 38 yards on 17 carries earlier this season.

Jerms he decommitted from Iowa because Ferentz wanted him to be a receiver. And you wonder why I fucking hate our staff

And he still has over 1900 yards on the season... What does that say about all of his other games? :L

I still remember the days of Fusker fans claiming Ameer was better than Melvin... Come to think of it that was only a week ago. :pound:

It should be pretty comical on Saturday. Melvin will have a hayday in the first half and by the time the second half rolls around Stave will have 6td passes

It sure would be fun though if both Iowa and Nebraska would win on Saturday so we could have a rivalry game actually mean something but I expect the offense to get Davised while our defense spends 45 minutes on the field huffing and puffing watching blurs of Red and White pass them by

I still think Gordon will have 200+ by half time Saturday. Hope I'm wrong...and it is much less than that. Given his speed...once he breaks through the hole, who's going to catch him on Iowa's defense?

I think Gordon will have a great game against Iowa. Conner, Coleman, Cobb, and the UNI running back ran all over Iowa. UNI's running back was more of a receiver than a runner though. I will say the same thing as I said against Minnesota.

This game will be determined by Wisconsin's OL vs Iowa's DL. Iowa has a very talented DL. They just struggle with conditioning. If Iowa's DL beats Wisconsin's OL, then they should stop Gordon when they need.

I don't expect Iowa's running game to work. They never did this season. I'm just wonder which Rudock and WRs show up. Also, which OL will show up? I think Iowa's lack of execution has hurt them more this season than anything else. Even All-American Scherff has looked like crap and shouldn't be All-American (although I still think he should be high in the draft).

I've heard from multiple sources (both personal and online) that Melvin decommited from Iowa after watching an altercation between players and coaches after they lost to OSU on his official visit. He felt the players didn't respect their coaches at all.

Smart,

I heard the same thing several years ago when Iowa lost at Minnesota. The half time locker room was like world war 3.

Who would respect this coaching staff? The only people who get better are the OL and DL...everyone else just regresses
