I mean Boston clearly is a better team up and down the lineup IMO and it was obvious tonight. They did more of the little things.

That bad fielding blunder by Hanager followed by the blown execution of the steal in the 2nd was the difference in the game. Great teams don't beat themselves in big games.

Wish we would have taken this game, but a one run loss says this team doesn't lay down for anyone. The king almost deserved a W though for his efforts. The long ball was the main difference I think. Boston executed better, and made better decisions from a managing standpoint.

Right now they are a better team.

It's not taking anything away from the M's to say that. As I said earlier the M's are the kings of the second tier and that's a massive improvement from where they were last year, or really any year since the early 2k's. They just aren't quite ready yet to get up on the porch with the big dogs.

I hear you but you have to give yourself a change to win. 2 on, no outs and down a run. They had the shift on for Seg. A bunt gets the runners out of the DP and with the shift maybe even a hit. The ground ball to short scores a run. JMO

Regarding Seagar bunting. His last sac bunt was 2014 and he’s had a total of 5 in his career. You ask him to bunt and I bet he fails and Ks anyway. The question is why is he still batting 5th
