Felix did himself no favors, but fielding blunders behind him aren't helping either.

This game is just ridiculous. Felix just doesn't have what it takes at all today. The Rays are probably having their best game of the season so far. Mariners can't get runners plated and that's what going to blow their season if they keep that up.

This has probably been one of, if not the most, sloppiest and poorly played games through 7th that the Mariners have played so far this season. Just all round shitty and sucky playing both offensively and defensively. 0 for 10 with RISP

Oh well youre bound to throw up a stinker. Plus i wasnt excepting to sweep them 7-0 this year.
Paxton is on tomorrow and we should get that one finishing 3-1 this series which is great.

Tough loss today but the M's earned it. Servais in post game interview was asked a few times about Felix and how he planned to "fix it" and Servais just kept saying Felix just needs to be consistent and never really answered the questions. He did say that he thought Felix is a good pitcher in this league. I kind of got the feeling he was intentionally evading the questions. I don't know but it's pretty clear Felix has been, and continues to be the weak link in our starters and more times than not when he starts it's probably gonna to be a lost game.

Typical Servais answer, easily translated to "Just like our RISP situation, I got nothing."

Basically put, Felix just isn't worth the contract he signed. Course, if you wanted to put numbers expected to a contract like THAT, he should be putting up numbers that Randy Johnson couldn't even reach!

To be fair though, the contract he signed with the Mariners is probably 60% of what he would have got on the open market.
