Peters must have rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. This looks like a very idiotic move on the KC FO.

Not every day you get a young All Pro corner, add on in a Wade Phillip's defense.

Given that the big fellas has been throwing his considerable weight around out there. If this move doesn't work...will KC be the last HCing job for Andy in the NFL for a while? Maybe ever?

Id have to think so, especially the way things seem to be trending in the way of young, talented minds getting a chance over the retread HC

He is fine as long as he is averaging 10 wins a season.

I think Reid is gone if he wins less than 7 next year.

Yeah, if he wins 10 next year with a 2nd yr QB, 1st yr starter, I think we would all say these moves worked pretty well.

The AFCW is wide open right now.

Chiefs have dominated the AFCW for 2 years.

Now its wide open because of the (questionable) moves they made

In many ways I can't blame him for moving on from A. Smith, but it's going to be a rough ride with the young QB...plenty of up and downs.

Considering the DEF also needs some updating...the trade needs to yield something on that side of the ball.

Precisely why Reid should be in hot water if they slide. These moves brought the rest of the DIV back into the conversation for 2018.

I like Mahomes a lot, wouldnt be surprised if the offense still is one of the best in the league

But under Reid, Id still expect the defense to get scorched, and for them to lose to someone they shouldnt in the postseason

I love his arm talent, but essentially a rookie. If the over/under was 9...where are you pointing? I think 9 is high side so I would point to under.

I like the Gruden hire more than most, I think the Chargers are just absolutely loaded with talent and they confuse me more than any other team, and I think theres a chance Cousins lands in Denver

So yeah, considering all that, I could see 9 being possibly the exact right #

The weirdest thing in the AFC West is that the Chargers and Raiders are the teams that had its window fully open last year and KC still won the division. KC was signalling rebuild when they drafted Mahomes. Denver is also in some sort of weird 'we're rebuilding but we also think we can win a Super Bowl' mode like KC and both teams need to make the right moves.
