That about sums up life as a UVA fan.

They have a great system and will always win a lot of games.

But, because the system rules everything they do, they can be beaten by anybody at any time. Their philosophy is built around shortening games and minimizing possessions. Not only does that increase the chance that a weaker team can hang around and beat you, but there are always 1 or 2 games like this a year where absolutely nothing goes right and they get beat down.

Yep, it's the basketball version of a football team that is almost entirely run oriented. It's great as long as you have the lead/the game is close.

But it's not a system that lends itself to overcoming big deficits.

I am not the stereotypical UVA kid though. I also have a healthy respect for Tech. Kind of have to when you beat our ass in football every single year.
