I'm surprised they are still a 1 after loosing to Oklahoma State!

They lost to an unranked team, we lost to the number 12 team in the country, plus they have 4 more losses.

SU was a four seed last year. They had 8 regular season losses and one in the BET for 9 losses entering the dance.

There is time for Grant and Keita to get healthy.

Keita is healthy by just looking at all the minutes he has been playing so quit with that excuse as for Grant sit him out if he isnt going to finish games. Last year has nothing to do with this year. Completly different team. Jonvi remember you are better then this.

Is anyone really surprised this team is starting to break down physically? We've had 3 guys that rarely come out of any game. It doesn't surprise me one bit that Grant is injured. Kid needs to be shut down until the NCAA tourney. Roberson and even Buss and BJ need to get some run in the next week. The starters need rest.

Nothing to quit about. Injuries are a part of the game. And keita agree's with you as far as Jerami sitting until he is 100%. That said, that leaves Silent G and he's no Grant. I'm not sure why Coach isn't playing Roberson...cause I think he can be great too. But Gbinijie is getting the minutes.

Boeheim said Grant practiced one day last week — it was Wednesday — and "looked pretty good." But he was slowed by pain on Thursday and as Saturday's game progressed, Grant's back tightened and soreness set in, said SU athletic trainer Brad Pike.

Grant declined to talk to reporters after the game. Pike said he and strength and conditioning coach Ryan Cabiles have been working to settle Grant's back as the season ticks down to its post-season core.

"You know, he's been one of our best players all year," Boeheim said. "You don't want to lose a guy like that. Sometimes, those things happen and you have to try to adjust as best you can."

"I think his back is really bothering him," SU center Baye Moussa Keita said. "I've told him, 'Don't force it. Just play when you're 100 percent comfortable.' I'd rather have him 100 percent, than like 75 percent any day."
